Its mission is to help meet the human resource needs of Manitoba's growing economic sectors and show our youth how to achieve their potential in Manitoba by engaging them in online exploration of Manitoba's workplaces and educational pathways.
More than a career web site, Career Destination: MANITOBA is a collaborative storytelling engine, enabling contributors to tell the stories of successful Manitoban workers with interactive multimedia captured from the workplace. This content service will be linked to industry and educational websites throughout the community, ensuring the widest possible audience.
Career Destination: MANITOBA has received funding from Human Resource Development Canada, Western Economic Diversification and Manitoba Advanced Education's Industry Training Partnerships.

Canada's largest trade and industry association, CME promotes the continuous improvement of Canadian manufacturing and exporting through engagement of government at all levels. Its mandate is to promote the competitiveness of Canadian manufacturers and enable the success of Canadian goods and services exporters in markets around the world.
CME's Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (AMI)
The Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (AMI) is designed to provide support to manufacturers seeking to become world class and to address the challenges through improving productivity and competitiveness.
AMI promotes "Lean Manufacturing" which is all about building capacity with existing resources. It is a system of understanding how your process delivers exactly what the customer wants with as little waste as possible and it really works.
AMI also aims to improve the community perception of modern manufacturing and to raise awareness of the the opportunities available in today's challenging world of manufacturing.
Film Training Manitoba (FTM)
Film Training Manitoba (FTM) trains Manitobans to work in film and television.
FTM is dedicated to providing high-quality training and professional development programs to ensure that there are enough capable and trained Manitobans to sustain our growing industry.
Frontier School Division (FSD)
FSD's mission is to provide, in partnership with parents and community, high quality education for all students so that they can develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and character essential for successful participation in our changing society.
Health Care Products Association of Manitoba (HCPAM)
HCPAM was founded in November 1990 to provide a unified voice for the (100 plus) health care manufacturing companies in Manitoba. The Association's objectives are to coordinate activities to address member needs and concerns and to inform members of changes in the global health industry.
Since 1986 Manitoba's health care products industry has experienced a rate of growth that is among the strongest of any health enterprise in Canada. The industry in Manitoba is currently third largest in Canada in terms of revenue and number of firms. There are currently 152 health related companies in the Province generating $445 million in sales revenue. Total employment with the industry has increased 960% since 1989 and currently stands at 4,500 people.
The Manitoba Aerospace Human Resource Coordinating Committee (MAHRCC)
MAHRCC, a committee of Manitoba Aerospace, is an industry-driven, government-supported initiative aimed at developing a world-class workforce to meet industry needs in the aerospace manufacturing and aviation maintenance sectors. MAHRCC was established to ensure that our member companies' human resource needs can be met within Manitoba and the citizens of Manitoba have access to world-class training right in our own "backyard."
Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC)
MCSC was created in 2009 to assist Manitoba's construction sector by consulting industry stakeholders and offering solutions to their current and future human resource needs. Founding members of the council are: Construction Association of Rural Manitoba; Manitoba Building and Construction Trades Council; Manitoba Heavy Construction Association; Manitoba Home Builders' Association; and the Winnipeg Construction Association.

The Manitoba Customer Contact Association (MCCA)
The MCCA is an industry association comprised of excellent Manitoba companies and organizations in the customer contact sector. MCCA was created in 1997 to enhance the image of Customer Contact Centres and expand Manitoba's qualified sustainable pool of human resources.
Manitoba Food Processors Association (MFPA)
The Manitoba Food Processors Association (MFPA) is a non-profit, industry-run organization that promotes Manitoba Made food products to local markets and international markets. The Association serves more than 200 member companies that range from small, start-up operations to large multi-national companies. Manitoba growers, processors, marketing boards, government agencies, retailers, as well as suppliers of goods and services to the industry enjoy the benefits of an MFPA membership.
Manitoba Home Builders' Association (MHBA)
The MHBA is a non-profit trade association whose mandate is to provide its members, the public and all levels of government with ongoing education and information relative to the housing industry.
Manitoba Tourism Education Council (MTEC)
MTEC's mission is to build the quality and performance of Manitoba's tourism and hospitality industry through excellence in training, education and recognition.
New Media Manitoba (NMM)
Formerly known as Manitoba New Media or "MNM", New Media Manitoba was founded in September of 2000 by Kevin Hnatiuk & Brock Gunter-Smith. We provide training, advocacy, and networking to individuals in the Digital Media industry.
We meet the 2nd-last Tuesday of every month at Psych Health on William in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Each of our meetings deals with a particular theme or products related to new media, interactive media, and video game development. Our training topics are targeted toward new media professionals, however, all are welcome to attend and there is no charge unless otherwise stated.
Northern Manitoba Sector Council (NMSC)
The Northern Manitoba Sector Council includes seven mining, forestry and hydro companies that operate in northern Manitoba: Crowflight Minerals Inc., Garson Gold Corp., HudBay Minerals Inc., Vale Inco, Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, Tolko Industries Ltd. and Manitoba Hydro.
We work with many different educators to help them put on the training programs that will meet our companies' needs. We also work closely with different government departments to help make sure the educators have the money they need to offer the training our member companies have asked for.
