Managing Email

I'm now a slave to email. Email has become a fantastic business tool, but it's also a complete time consumer. Where someone would pick up the phone before and ask a quick question, now will write a half a page email, which of course requires a written response.

You have to consider what you're going to write in an email too because the written word does not come across in the same manner as the verbal word. You have to be sure what you type can't be taken any other way than how you mean it.
